About LA Pride
Christopher Highway West (CSW), is a (c)3 organization that organized the world’s first permitted gay parade on June 28, to commemorate the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in Fresh York City the year prior. Over 50 years later, we have built a rich history as an advocate for the Homosexual community across Greater Los Angeles, and beyond.
While we’re foremost known for producing the LA Celebration Parade &#; Festival &#; the oldest Pride celebration in Southern California &#; we also generate free community programs such as donation and volunteerism events called, “Pride Makes a Difference,” and our “Salon Series” of year-round panel discussions and conversations covering issues that impact or interest the LGBTQ+ community.
CSW also organizes, sponsors or supports our community partners’ events in and around Los Angeles, including The Getty Center, The Williams Institute at UCLA Educational facility of Law, and other venerable LA organizations. WeHo Pride is the City of West Hollywood’s LGBTQ+ Pride celebration.
For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of people each June.

Thursday, May 22 – Monday, June 30
WeHo Pride kicks-off on Harvey Milk Day, May 22, with a special event. WeHo Pride Weekend will take place from Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1 with OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride, the WeHo Pride Street Reasonable, the Women's Freedom Festival and Dyke March, WeHo Pride Parade, and much more!
This year's WeHo Event Arts Festival will accept place from Friday, May 23 through Sunday, May 25 with various events and programming.
Throughout the 40 days from May 22 to June 30, there will be community community events at various locations.
