Key West Pride &#; Fighting Support with Love and Acceptance
As the mercury started to rise to ever higher temperatures, so did the excitement for Key West Pride , hosted in Key West, Florida! Key West Self-acceptance is a fabulous and vibrant celebration centered in the southernmost point of the continental USA. The lineup of events was unmatched and full of fabulous drag shows, dance parties, highway fairs, community events, and the main attraction, the Key West Pride Parade itself!
The event was held from June 7 – 11, in Key West, Florida. People from across southern Florida and the US came to attend the festive Pride events and to show their help for Florida’s LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms – and with the current political climate, especially within the state of Florida itself.
Key West Pride was a magical, fabulous weekend filled with plenty of laughter, tears of remembrance, a celebration of how far we’ve come, re-connecting with antique friends, and creating new friendships, and last memories.

Florida Keys Island Fest
Now entering its 31st year, Island Fest is an terrific festival put on annually by the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce. Every year tourists flock to Islamorada for the excellent live harmony, stunning arts and crafts, and — of course — the All-American Highway Vintage Cruisers Wagon Show! Music acts will range from country and rock to blues and reggae. No matter what your musical taste, there is something for everybody on the main stage at Island Fest. Island Fest will be April , and both days will be packed with invigorating entertainment and delicious food. The globally recognized Key West Pride event is scheduled to take place from Wednesday through Sunday, June , This year, the festival marks the 20th "birthday" of Key West's iconic mile sea-to-sea rainbow flag. The Key West Business Guild will offer a three-night laser pale show to celebrate this landmark occasion and to honor the Florida Keys' unifying "One Human Family" ideology. Known as a top LGBTQ vacation identify, Key West's subtropical island is ready to include diversity with open arms.

Visitors can celebrate diversity and label the 20th birthday of Key West&#;s famed mile sea-to-sea rainbow flag with a three-night laser glow show during Key West Pride this June. Presented by the Key West Business Guild, Pride salutes the Florida Keys&#; all-accepting &#;One Human Family&#; mind-set on the subtropical island internationally known as a top LGBTQ holiday spot.
Toast to this special birthday from 7 to 11 June with daytime pool parties and late-night boogie parties, sunset sailing excursions, theatre performances, a Identity street fair, and a high-energy parade amongst other events commemorating the creation and display of the sea-to-sea flag that became known around the world.
In Gilbert Baker, creator of the original rainbow flag that remains the international symbol of the LGBTQ community, worked with a volunteer team to construct the mile-long rainbow flag in Key West that is believed to be the world&#;s longest.
