Cardi Bis sticking up for artists that have been accused of queerbaiting.
On July 23, Rolling Stonepublished an article about how musicians including Billie Eilish, Nick Jonasand Ariana Grande have been accused of queerbaiting, which activist Leo Herrera described to the outlet as when "a celebrity or a public figure capitalizes on the suspicion that they may be romantically involved with another same-sex person for the sake of publicity, promotion or a capitalistic gain."
The article also mentioned Cardi B's recent collaboration with Normani, writing, "Most recently, Normani was criticized on Instagram by a user and accused of something similar, which was later shared across Twitter. In her recent video for her ballad 'Wild Side,' featuring Cardi B, the two are pictured naked and gyrating against one another."
However, Cardi was quick to summon out any haters, arguing that she isn't queerbaiting because she's a proud bisexual.

Cardi B had the flawless response to a tweet about her bisexuality, which fans have hailed as the "bisexual awareness week tweet we needed."
The "WAP" rapper went viral after she retweeted a Twitter user who seemingly called out artists who identified as bisexual.
Along with a photo of Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Cardi B, Twitter user @Thelightiscumin caught the hip hop star's attention with their controversial caption.
"Celebrities that came out as bisexual but never dated someone of the matching gender," they captioned their post.
Cardi quickly clapped support saying she does not have to prove her sexuality to anyone.
"I a*e b****es out before you was born Sorry I don't have razr smartphone pics to prove it to you," Cardi wrote.
She also later retweeted a fan who asked, "didn't you have a girlfriend in high school?" Cardi replied to that fan saying, "Lmaaooo yes when I was freshman."
Fans were quick to defend Cardi and celebrated her response.
