Dubai, United Arab Emirates — Iran has executed two gay men who were convicted on charges of sodomy and spent six years on death row, a rights group reported. Homosexuality is illegal in Iran, which is considered one of the most repressive places in the world for lesbian, gay, double attraction and transgender people.

According to a report on Sunday by the Human Rights Activists News Agency, the two men were identified as Mehrdad Karimpour and Farid Mohammadi.

They were sentenced to death for "forced sexual intercourse between two men" and hanged in a prison in the northwestern city of Maragheh, some miles from the capital, Tehran.

Last July, two other men were executed on the identical charges in Maragheh, the group said. It added that last year, Iran executed people, including four convicted of crimes committed as children. Also in , Iran sentenced 85 people to death.

I've been pretty femmy and pretty all my life. Straight guys own hit on me in a jokey way or been friends with me and I have even had some "experiment" with me. In those situations, it always felt enjoy they wanted to view what it would be like with a homosexual guy and I was about as gay as they come. Sort of like when anyone wants to try something distinct, they pick the most stereotypical version of that they can find.

Iran defends execution of gay people

The US on Wednesday accused Iran of violating fundamental human rights after Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif endorsed the execution of gay people.

Zarif defended his country's draconian policies at a joint press conference with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in Tehran on Monday.

A reporter from German tabloid Bild asked: "Why are homosexuals executed in Iran because of their sexual orientation?"

He responded: "Our society has moral principles. And we live according to these principles. These are moral principles concerning the habit of people in general. And that means that the rule is respected and the regulation is obeyed," after railing against human rights violations by the US and Israel.

Maas, who was in Iran to negotiate the continuation of the nuclear deal, largely ignored the issue at the time.

Shadi Amin, an Iranian writer and activist who now lives in Germany, told DW-Farsi that she was "outraged" by the Iranian foreign minister's comments.

If any of you get a Disney Imagineer, please make a LGBT bar! The drink around the world event during same-sex attracted day orlando was a great time. You couldn&#;t even find a place to stand inside any of the bars at EPCOT.

My fav bars in WDW:

1. Mizner&#;s Lounge - silent, comfy and right off the monorail in the GF.
2. Planet Hollywood - fun, great diet and inside DTD.
3. Dawa Bar - outdoor, very casual, good beer and drinks, smoking section and it&#;s in Africa of the animal kingdom.

They had one, it was called Mannequins Dance Palace. Unfortunately the fool who closed it is now headed over to ABD to wreck havoc.
