Gay gyms in palm springs
Gold's Gym v. Nature Gym (Palm Springs)
OK, so here I am, 3rd day in Palm Springs-- a city most impressive in it’s unimpressiveness. Take a bunch of strip malls with vanilla stores you can uncover anywhere in the sprawling US, dump them in the middle of the frikken desert, and plant a bunch of palm trees.
Had a earthquake this morning, that was exciting.
Found Gold’s. It’s better equipped than my normal gym all round, so worth the visit. Lots of HS machines, a couple T-bar row machines, adequate db’s and bench, cage and , and lots of weight on the cable lat pulldown machine, and some actual ‘big dudes’ moving weights, which is a change from my gym.
Thought you guys were being funny about the gay guys-- not that it matters. Two dudes that I’ve seen all this week are pretty big and as soon as I heard them talk, I started laughing because as great as they were they sounded like that sound-bite Howard Stern plays— “Hellllloooo Friiiith-co!”
Very funny. Oh, good it’s obvious they’ve position their time in in the gym, so lots of respect there.
Gay Palm Springs
Palm Springs is best known as the "playground of the stars," a reputation earned during Hollywood's Golden Age when the warm little desert oasis was both nearby enough yet far enough away to appeal to the silver screen's A-list. With an average of days of annual sunshine and degree mountain views, it's easy to understand the appeal.
In recent years Palm Springs has become, per capita, one of the gayest cities on earth, constituting an estimated % of the local population. Robert Moon, the current mayor, is gay, as were the two previous mayors, along with most city council members. Many hotels, restaurants, and businesses are gay-owned, and most are gay-friendly.
But if you're looking for a big-city atmosphere with a booming club scene, you require to look elsewhere. Palm Springs is a quiet, relaxing resort town. Certainly there is a thriving nightlife, but that's hardly the city's main appeal. Sunshine, swimming pools, world-class golf courses and tennis courts, great restaurants, and awe-inspiring mountain vistas --t

Plenty of nudity and cruising in the lockerroom.
