The Cruising Area in the Dunes of Maspalomas is a large, very massive area and it is impossible to define it.
But the main area is focused on an area with many bushes.

The best way to find it: Pass by the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas and then go in the Dunes and change right.
Just pursue the trails.

Roaming Revenant

I always wanted to visit Gran Canaria but despite being a widespread holiday destination for Brits and Germans alike it is quite far away from Europe so it’s not the easiest place to visit. Finally an opportunity to check the famous dunes had presented itself. The cruise ship I was on had a stop on the island and I booked a transfer to Maspalomas beach.

I got dropped of near the Plaza del Faro on the left side of the dunes. After grabbing a couple of cans from the shops I headed east along the beach towards the sands. The beach was pretty busy with a lot of people walking along the coast in both directions.

My prepare was to come to the gay beach neighboring Hut №7, spend a couple of hours sunbathing and swimming before heading out in to the dunes for a bit of fun if I can find any. I didn’t want to travel to the cruising area right away and instead leave something to stare forward to. This is one of those places that is well-known so I do have a certain degree of reverence to it and wanted to savour the thought.
