Romance options have only change into more diverse over time, with some queer characters now at the forefront of the series. The next Fire Emblem game should make an effort to push this bar higher than ever before.

Many modern Fire Emblem games allow the player to marry another member of the cast. Likewise, they may also nudge romantic relationships between other characters. These romance mechanics were front and center in Fire Emblem Awakening, and played a huge role in the series'

Although there are many opportunities to build connections between characters, there is no romance feature per se in the game. Shez is not able to start a relationship with or marry any other character, keeping things strictly platonic.

However, there are some romantic features in the game which approach relationship without explicitly taking the next step. It's explain that the developers position plenty of stock into character interaction, so those who are disappointed by the lack of passion need not lose hope.

Despite the lack of explicit relationships, the game has a robust “Expedition” film which can only be described accurately as Going On a Date.

Ya same here, I’ve been a fan since Blazing Blade but supports and dynamics include always been a giant favorite of mine since I really started to read the games I played.

I am hoping when I finish my major paid for project it’ll afford me the age to just work on my weird little fan hack.

I’m not sure it’s worth mentioning, but my game, Mark of the Dragon, currently has 3 characters who are officially not straight, but as very few supports are written currently, it isn’t really mentioned yet. I keep it in mind when writing the characters in question, but you can’t really relate yet. It will be more noticeable once extra scenes and supports are there
