OA Big Manual Meeting meets on Wednesday every week from pm. Whatever problem you may have with diet, you are welcome at this mtg. This is a literature meeting focusing on the Huge Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. This is an open meeting; all are welcome.

The month of July is packed with a multitude of diversity events from celebrating women to various religions. Here are seven of the most important events from our July diversity calendar. For a complete list, spot our online diversity calendar.
Black Leaders
Thurgood Marshall (July 2nd):
July diversity awareness month includes famed Supreme Court justice and civil rights public figure, and head of legal services for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). As an advocate of advancing civil rights for all Americans, Marshall used his time on the Supreme Court to transfer America forward. Marshall’s biggest accomplishment comes from the groundbreaking decision on the Supreme Court case of Brown vs. Board of Education, which ended racial segregation in public schools.

LGBTQ Community Calendar
There are a number of days and months observed, celebrated, and honored by the LGBTQ community. While the list below is specific to LGBTQ-focused days, weeks, and months, LGBTQ people also observe and celebrate non-LGBTQ specific moments such as Black History Month, Latinx Heritage Month, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Mother’s Morning, Father’s Day, Women’s History Month, and Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Media coverage of these and other non-LGBTQ focused moments should involve LGBTQ people and the intersections of LGBTQ people and the respective topic.
